Our committees include: Activities Committee: The Activities Committee organizes and supervises all special events and activities sponsored by the Society. The Committee is responsible for evaluating these activities, and proposes new events and activities in response to the changing interests of the membership. Community Assistance Committee: The Community Assistance Committee responds to the short-term financial needs of applicants. We review applications and requests, visit with families and individuals, and try to find the best immediate solution we can reasonably provide. Educational Aid Committee: The Educational Aid Committee administers the Society's bursary program which provides assistance to qualified students. Scottish Culture Committee: The Scottish Culture Committee reviews all cultural grant applications received by the Society, and solicits projects that enhance the development and promotion of Scottish culture and traditions.
