Our signature tartan
The St. Andrew's Society is proud to offer fine accessories made with the Montreal 1642 tartan—a tartan which was designed by the Society and given to the City of Montreal in celebration of its 375th anniversary.
About the fabric
The Montreal 1642 tartan is woven by Lochcarron of Scotland and is a medium-weight (13-ounce) tartan made with 100 percent fine wool. This traditional kilting fabric is suitable for kilts, trews (tartan trousers), coats and jackets as well as curtains, cushions and covers for sofas and chairs.
