GlenAllachie 30 Years Old Cask Strength Single Malt Spey Valley is a richly sherried Speyside single malt, crafted from hand-picked Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks by Master Distiller Billy Walker. Matured in vintage puncheons and hogsheads, it delivers deep notes of forest fruits, chocolate fondant, and wild Scottish honey. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 49.1%, with no chill filtration or colouring, this whisky showcases its unadulterated character and aged elegance.

Don't miss the chance to sample this rare and extraordinary dram!

Your WhiskyFête ticket purchase supports The Neuro

The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) has been a leader in neurological care and research since 1934. Known for its unique approach that brings scientists and clinicians together, The Neuro continues to provide world-class treatment for complex conditions like ALS, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, movement disorders, and brain tumours.

Demand for The Neuro’s specialized care is growing rapidly. With an aging population and increasing referrals, more than 40,000 outpatients visit each year—with numbers rising by 10 percent annually. Many travel from across Quebec and beyond to access care not available in their communities.

WhiskyFête is proud to be helping The Neuro meet this growing need—by expanding access, upgrading facilities, and ensuring caregivers have the tools they need to deliver exceptional care. Your support directly helps patients and families facing some of the most challenging neurological diseases.

Scots care! Bringing the sounds of Scotland to CHSLD LaSalle

The Cultural Committee of the St. Andrew’s Society was delighted recently to present a cheque to the Centre d’Hébergement (CHSLD) de LaSalle in support of their upcoming Scottish music programming.

The donation reflects the Society’s commitment to fostering cultural connections and supporting community initiatives that celebrate Scottish heritage in meaningful ways.

During the visit, our Executive Director Margo Pollock had the pleasure of spending time with Society member Jim Shepherd, a resident of the centre and a familiar face to many—he is a former president of the Scottish Centre of Montreal and a long-time contributor to the city’s Scottish community.

The team at CHSLD LaSalle is looking forward to welcoming the sounds of Scotland to their residence this summer. Music is a much-loved part of daily life at this government-run home for seniors, and residents will be thrilled to once again hear the stirring sound of bagpipes. Plans are underway to enhance the musical ambiance on their flower-filled outdoor terraces by hosting live performances every two weeks from May through August 2025. Their goal is to celebrate music in a vibrant, joyful setting—with a special Scottish touch.
