The St. Andrew's Society is proud to offer fine accessories made with the Montreal 1642 tartan—a tartan which was designed by the Society and given to the City of Montreal in celebration of its 375th anniversary. The Society has worked closely with Glen Nobes of Henry Marks Ltd. to create Montreal 1642 accessories, including ties, sashes and scarves.

About the fabric The Montreal 1642 tartan is woven by Lochcarron of Scotland and is a medium-weight (13-ounce) tartan made with 100 percent fine wool. Although this quality of fabric is traditionally a kilting fabric and used for making bespoke tailored goods, it is also highly recommended for soft furnishings and upholstery. Suitable for kilts, trews (tartan trousers), coats and jackets as well as curtains, cushions and covers for sofas and chairs,. Fabric may be purchased by the metre using the order form below.
