About the fabric
The Montreal 1642 tartan is woven by Lochcarron of Scotland and is a medium-weight (13-ounce) tartan made with 100 percent fine wool. Although this quality of fabric is traditionally a kilting fabric and used for making bespoke tailored goods, it is also highly recommended for soft furnishings and upholstery. Suitable for kilts, trews (tartan trousers), coats and jackets as well as curtains, cushions and covers for sofas and chairs,.
