St. Patrick's Day Parade - March 19th
The St Andrew’s Society of Montreal will be marching in the 2017 St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 19th.
We invite-encourage-welcome all Scots to march with us in the parade. Everyone is welcome!!!! Wear some tartan or something Scottish and walk with us as we celebrate our Scottish identity and our Irish friends’ national day. You will be marching behind the amazing Black Watch Association Pipes and Drums Band!
All participants are to gather on Rene-Levesque between St. Marc and St. Mathieu in Section B. While the parade organizers open the area up at 9:30 am marchers are urged to arrive before 11:30 am. The parade starts at noon.
The band will be meeting up before at the Irish Embassy Pub if anyone is interested in joining them before the parade.
Watch our Society marching in the parade in 2010. In 2016, we are looking forward to a drier and warmer day!!!

St. Patrick's Day Parade. Representing the Society in the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Sean and Louis, Glen Nobes, Ian and Trevor Aitken, Campbell, Cecil McPhee, Julie Perron, Brian MacKenzie and the distinguished members of the Black Watch Association Pipes and Drums. But, the little guy who stole the show was a wonderful 19 month old who marched quite a bit of the way. He waved to everyone and when they cheered; he lay flat on his back. His name is Victor and he is the son of one of the pipers in the band. It was a lovely day, cold but huge crowds.
