If you like curling night, you'll love this! The St Andrew's Society, in conjunction with the Lawn Bowling Federation of Quebec and the Ministry of Cricket & Other Homeless Sports, is hosting a fantastic introduction to lawn bowling event, Friday 27 May, 7pm-8.30pm, 1301 Mazurette, opposite Marché Central, (near corner of de l'Acadie). There's free parking, free WiFi, café, resto, bar, showers and changing rooms, and 14,000 sq ft of turf sporting heaven! As well as coaching from all the local Montreal lawn bowl clubs, there'll be a series of fun matches, and a ton of activities for the whole family! There's a golf driving range net, ping pong tables, baseball and cricket batting cages, soccer fields and more, as well as superb spectating areas!
Tickets will be just 12$, taxes included, and 10$ for under 18s!
Free parking is best in front of Party Expert on de l'Acadie. The entrance to The Ministry is at 1301 Mazurette, down the path in the side of the building.
All you need to bring is a pair of clean regular sports shoes to change into.
